Abbott & Fenner are committed to continuing our efforts at helping those who have the desire and ambition to succeed.
The winner(s) of this annual scholarship will receive their award within 2 weeks of the listed deadline. All applicants should include their full name and mailing address with their submissions as well as the school they are currently attending.
Deadline and Eligibility
RENEWED DEADLINE: June 10, 2025
AWARD VALUE: $1,000
The A&F Scholarships are available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any accredited post secondary institution.
Application Procedure for 2025
To apply for this scholarship you will need to write an essay on the topic below. The essay should be between 500 and 1000 words. Your submissions must be sent to us by email at: scholarships@abbottandfenner.com

Topic:
Describe your educational career and life goals. Explain your plan for achieving these goals. Include your degree/major, why you selected it, and how this degree/major will help you achieve your goals.
2024 Scholarship Winners
- Addion Ryan is one of the recipients of the Abbott and Fenner Scholarship for 2024.     Addison will be studying nursing at Michigan State University.
- Nicholas Durant is one of the recipients of the Abbott and Fenner Scholarship for 2024.     Nicholas will be attending Worcester Polytechnic Institute on a path to become a Mechanical Engineer.
2023 Scholarship Winners
- Jordan Ghant is one of the recipients of the Abbott and Fenner Scholarship for 2023.     Jordan will be studying Marketing and Real Estate at Reinhardt University.
- Jesse Matijevic is one of the recipients of the Abbott and Fenner Scholarship for 2023.     Jesse will be attending Quinnnipiac University to study Biochemistry.
2022 Scholarship Winners
- Yomaris Sanchez is one of the recipients of the Abbott and Fenner Scholarship for 2022.    Ms. Sanchez will be attending FGC University to study Health Science.
- Ja’Onni McClerkin is one of the recipients of the Abbott and Fenner Scholarship for 2022.     Ms. McClerkin will be attending Cornell University on a path to become a physician.
2021 Scholarship Winners
- Ashyanni Talabes is one of the recipients of the Abbott and Fenner Scholarship for 2021.    Ms. Talabes will be attending Albany University while pursuing a career as a Medical Examiner.
- Hanna Metzger is one of the recipients of the Abbott and Fenner Scholarship for 2021.     Ms. Metzger will be attending Wright State while pursuing a career as a teacher.
2020 Scholaarship Winner
- Jenna Winteris the recipient of the Abbott and Fenner Scholarship for 2020.    Ms. Winter will be attending Auburn University to study Occupational Therapy
2019 Scholarship Winner
- Amanda Sutherland is the recipient of the Abbott and Fenner Scholarship for 2019.     Ms. Southerland will be attending Loyola Marymount University in LA where she will be majoring in Film & Media studies
